Chief Information Officer

Job description / Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee all ITC systems for a large group of compnaies in Saudi Arabia. This person will be based in the holding company's head office in Al Khobar and will be required to make executive decisions regarding the purchase of IT equipment, the creation of new systems and leading and directing a large team.

This person must also map out both the ICT strategy and ICT policy for each of the group's companies outlining how ICT is utilized and applied. This person will be required to protect the group in the short and long term and prepare and implement the group's long term strategy.

Requirements

In order to succeed in this role you must have executive level experience within the ICT sector as a CIO and ideally have worked for a major holding company with diverse interests covering manufacturing, contracting and trading. Extensive senior experience at strategic level coupled with relevant qualifications are essential to secure this position.
