Employment: Full Time

The Chief Mechanic Level 5 will be a member of the AH-64E Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) in support of the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) customer as the Saudi AH-64D/E MAT Field Engineer. The Chief Mechanic is fully qualified and current in Aviation Intermediate Maintenance and Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVIM/AVUM) scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to support the fleet.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- The MAT will receive transported aircraft and commence maintenance support
- Augment RSLFAC personnel in accomplishing AVIM/AVUM sustainment maintenance tasks
- Provide supplemental on-the-job training to customer personnel to augment formal classroom training
- The Chief Mechanic leads the development of scheduled maintenance programs for new aircraft
- Works with design team to ensure the development of supportable products and timely resolution of in-service issues for the company product user
- Negotiates basis of aircraft certification with the FAA or applicable regulator
- Represents customer operations in the development and revision of failure driven flight deck effects
- Provides industry expertise in the consultation and assessment related to the maintenance and maintainability of new or revised aircraft or subsystem designs
- Works under consultative direction.

Requirements

- Ten (10) years experience as an aircraft mechanic/maintenance technician.
- A&P License, or US Army Training Certification.
- Five (5) years experience utilizing computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.
- Be able to use the Microsoft Office suite to prepare various reports, charts, and other related documents.
- Five (5) years experience in contract execution.
- Desired - Five (5) years experience as a Production Control Officer/Supervisor in AH-64 aircraft maintenance.
