Civil Site Engineer (Water Treatment Plant) - Dammam, Saudi Arabia

- Monitoring and inspection of construction work in accordance with quality requirements
- Monitoring and inspection of construction Civil work in accordance with quality requirements.
- Experience in reviewing shop drawings and vendors' submittals.
- Assist in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
- Daily field supervision on actual execution of works according to drawings and specifications.
- Carry out scheduled inspections to ensure that works are constructed in accordance with the contract documentation and method statements
- Liaison with the contractor on all construction related matters
- Maintain photo and written diaries to record daily works

Requirements

- Bachelor of civil engineering from recognized university
- Experience of no less than (8 years) in the field of supervision of the execution of structural works of the desalination plants, wells, tanks and related civil works.
- At least the last 5 years of experience shall be in execution of similar projects.
- Experience in the use of computer applications (reports, follow up, timelines, presentationsetc.)
- English
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, and good presentation skills in English.
- Written and spoken Arabic skills are beneficial but not essential.
- Be enthusiastic about improving the safety performance of site operations.
- Be able to communicate effectively with site teams and motivate them to meet the project objectives.
- Report to Project Manager
