Collection Manager (Saudi National)

Job description / Role

Implement the organization’s collection policies so that an acceptable level of risk is maintained, repayments are made on time, losses are kept to a minimum, and arrears are economically collected, responsible to lead company’s overall collection applications operations and team

Main responsibilities:
- Manage the organization’s most complex, large or difficult collection accounts to maintain positive customer relations and minimize debts outstanding
- Monitor the status of collection activities to identified problem areas and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance of the team
- Liaise with functional or operational area managers, to ensure that collection activities are consistent with the organization’s overall customer relations strategy
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of collections staff to ensure that the collections activities are conducted effectively and ethically and comply with the organization’s policies and standards
- Authorize applications in accordance with company standards and establish appropriate repayment terms to minimize the risk.
- Responsible for collection of past due customer invoices and weekly reporting of collection status to senior management
- Monitor, track & enforce department policies, procedures & goals
- Provide analysis and feedback regarding the collection issues resulting from internal processes
- Work with management teams to create new ways to successfully streamline Collection policies & processes.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance)
- Nature and length of previous experience: 5 to 8 years experience
