Commissioning Engineer - Plant/ MEP

Job description / Role

Required to join an international FM company managing the handover of a large scale project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee the commissioning of plant and its handover in a fully functioning state and provides training to operators.

This will include
• Attend and undertake the commissioning of systems
• Understand the operational parameters of items being commissioned by obtaining and digesting relevant material (O&M manuals)
• Ensure the commissioned item is performing as per specification by obtaining data from read outs or using measuring instruments
• Advise upon any nonperforming plant and ensure the cause is investigated by the OEM and rectified
• Advise if any plant cannot be rectified and is performing below specification by way of a written report

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• A minimum of 5 years in a Commissioning role
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
• Experience of working on Middle East projects preferable
• Able to mobilise on a single status basis
