Job description / Role
- Analysing requirements and designing solutions meeting the business and technical needs of an enterprise using Comptel OM product (preferred version 8.2)
- Designing and developing business logic thru BST and Macroset with Java Webservices
- Analyse and Implement Comptel catalog
- Changes in BST logics and NEI’s.
- Creating and updating HLD, LLD, product/Interface documents
- Java architecture designing with design patterns, reusability, maintainability, flexibility
Requirements
- First class Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) from a reputed university with a good background of software development and IT experience of around 8+ years in telecom / IT.
- 3+ years of Comptel OM Development experience, having knowledge in Fulfillment solution, Provisioning and Activation, covering wireline, wireless and data services.
- Excellent command on BST to build reusable, maintainable, flexible logic with highly optimized performance
- Experience working as system integrator in multi-vendor OSS solutions.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology.
- Ability to perform technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical)
- Proven expertise in writing ‘good’ code & experience in multi-tiered development projects
- Exposure to Siebel CRM is an added advantage.
- Experience with building or using standard frameworks, understanding of design patterns, Knowledge of performance & security aspects.
- Knowledge in software development processes and technologies: Java, XML, SOAP.
- Knowledge in networking and telecommunications technologies/standards: Wireline, Wireless, LTE, GSM, TCP/IP.
- UNIX (SunOS, HP-UX, Linux or AIX) as a user.
