Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to form part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based on a large mixed use Development in Riyadh. The main objective of the PMC is to implement and manage the overall Development Programme, which includes infrastructure enhancement works, as well as retail mall and hospitality new build and refurbishment elements.

The team shall be expected to assist the client in any way possible to ensure the Development is completed to the required timescales and within their stated budgets. The project is expected to last for up to 3 years for Phase 1, with an option for Phase 2 lasting a further 2-3 years also.

Core Responsibilities:
- Part of a multi functional team responsible for delivering a large number of varied projects in accordance with the client’s requirements.
- Overall construction management as part of a client team with particular emphasis on logisitics and handover.
- Complete review of existing operations within the client organisation, assessing both the strengths and weaknesses and compiling reports for presentation to the client.
- Chair weekly/ monthly progress meetings.
- Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities.

The successful candidate will also be able to mobilise people and teams and drive for a successful delivery.

Requirements

- Degree qualified: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience and preferably have experience similar to this project/role;
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in USA, Canada or Western European Countries;
- Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia / Middle East;
- Professional membership preferred;
- Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large mixed-use, multi functional projects;
- Construction management background and capable of reviewing existing operations within an organisation through all the project phases from inception to the final handover phase of a project;
- Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally;
