Job Description & Summary
A career in our Transformation Management practice, within Project Portfolio Management services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations balance long term strategies and short term imperatives to optimise their investments and strategic activity required to achieve the organisation's business objectives. We help enhance organisations project and programme performance by identifying alternative project approaches, consistently aligning projects with corporate strategy, setting the tone and pace of programmes from the outset, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations, and extracting value from agile programme delivery.

As part of our team, you'll help our clients understand what makes business transformation programmes successful, from programme delivery structures and business engagement models to key technical issues and ongoing learning and improvement. We share knowledge and experience to complement our clients existing capabilities which propels them to the next level of Portfolio delivery.

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to.

- Work under the supervision of Directors and Senior Managers within the TMU Consulting practice.
- Work on and support in the managing of projects including but not limited to: Technology Implementations (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft, SAP ERP, etc), Tech Transformation Projects, IT Implementations, Business Process Re-engineering, Feasibility Studies etc.
- Work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Review deliverables and ensure adherence to scope and completion of work
- Proactively identify risks, issues and change management initiatives
- Work on project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards
- Work with colleagues across all Middle Eastern offices on client engagements and internal initiatives as well as with international teams.
- Build knowledge and share with the team by utilising learning and development tools and techniques to analyse and identify requirements for change
- You will have access to all of the latest training and development tools and the support of the wider PwC network.

Requirements

Preferred skills

- The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage Technology projects and the leadership skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with best practices in PMO structures and operating models
- Experience in managing large scale implementation projects for technology solutions (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.)
- Familiarity in designing technology architecture 
- Be passionate about client service
- Self-motivated, confident - a strong work ethic
- Successful performance within team environments, enjoy being part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Experience in overseeing and reporting progress of large-scale projects
- Knowledge/understanding of the Middle East Technology/Digital trends including a deep understanding of global trends in the Technology Sector
- Experience of driving large-scale change
- Planning and reporting tools, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Primavera P6
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written) preferred
 
Certifications Required

- PMP certification
- TOGAF certification (preferred)
