Employment: Full Time

Our client is a multinational organisation who are now looking to recruit a innovative and strategic Corporate Communications Manager to lead Communications acitivities in Saudia Arabia to essentially strengthen my clients brand presence and drive sales. While this position is to be ideally based in Riyadh there is also the option to work from Dhahran.

This role will be reporting into the Corporate Communications Head, while its essential that the potential candidate is able to work independently as they will have a high degree of autonomy. The primary responsibilities of this role will be providing strategic direction and functional leadership across Saudi Arabia, whilst managing complex projects and highly visible initiatives.

In this role you will develop and implement an integrated communication strategy that delivers clear results aligned to strategic business plans. You will also be responsible for ensuring all local communications activities promote, protect and differentiate the brand and company image in the market place.

- Manage internal, external and marketing communications strategies and programs that align with business strategy
- Act as a communications futurist, counseling and advising business leaders and the global communications function on strategy and anticipating future business needs
- Generate a strong culture of cross-business collaboration and teamship, connecting different business strategies to ensure outputs are aligned to customer needs and market opportunities as defined in the strategic plans
- Manage all local media relations activities and work with my clients appointed PR agency to increase visibility and share of voice across the market
- Generate communications materials in both Arabic and English, such as briefing materials, executive speeches, presentations, brochures, event planning and online content, and identify and present campaign ROI
- Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in Saudi Arabia

Requirements

- Possess a university Degree in a related field, preferably in Public Relations or Communications
- Western Education
- A minimum of 7 years experience in Marketing/ Communications
- Have experience in both a corporate and an agency environment, with significant experience working in Saudi in a similar role, preferably at a multi-national company
- Possess cross-discipline communications experience in media relations, events & trade shows, digital communications, employee relations, and crisis management
- Show a clear ability to transmit the objectives of the Communications function towards your contact persons, with a resilient yet culturally-sensitive, creative attitude on business-related issues
- Familiarity with corporate U.S. environment will be a strong asset
- Advanced computer user with good IT skills
- Be willing and able to travel 10% of the time within your territory and internationally as required
- Possess superior writing, verbal communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English languages
- Be experienced in digital communications, with previous experience in leading online and social media projects
- Ability to work and meet with Males and Females
- Ability to travel globally
