Corrosion Engineer

Job description / Role

• You are expected to be able to perform the following:
• Develop continuous improvements solutions by collecting, analysing corrosion issues.
• Maintain the department corrosion management programs.
• Transfer of the corrosion strategy to the discipline responsible of CP/painting and coating design.
• Monitor and improve chemical treatment.
• Interface with Installation engineering functions to solve the anti-corrosion problems of different projects.
• Coordinate Laboratory experimental work in corrosion field.
• Share knowledge and train young engineers.

Requirements

• The successful candidate should have a Bachelor degree in engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in corrosion and inspection, and at least 2 certificates of the below:
• NACE Corrosion Technologist
• NACE Corrosion Specialist Certification
• API 571 - Corrosion and Materials Professional
• NACE CP Specialist Certification
• Or the combination of NACE basic corrosion + CP level II + CIP level II (All together).
