Cost Accountant

Job description / Role

This is an opportunity to join on the regions' largest mining operations as a Cost Accountant.

The main focus of this position is to be accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.

You will also be expected:
- To construct and monitor the cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.
- To efficiently provide cost and production data for the control of operations.
- Prepare analyses of plant expenditures and prepare forecasts for plant performance.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets.

Requirements

- Degree in Accounting
- 5 years financial reporting experience
- Worked within processing / manufacturing industries - i.e. Metals, Mining, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical
- Due to visa restrictions we are only able to process applicants from JORDAN or EGYPT
