Creative Director - HAVAS KSA

The job holder of this position is in touch with all three connection points on a social level of the communications agency, such as the Creative department, Client Servicing and clients. The job holder is also responsible for branding and advertising for a client with consequential thoughts and a single minded creative strategy, ensuring that the new branding and advertising fits in with the client's requirements and the image they wish to promote for their company or product.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Coordination and Development

- Lead major presentations and creative meetings to the client to increase business and strengthen relationships with them
- Develop ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other public relations activities that promote awareness of the company and its products or services
- Attend strategy meetings and participate in development of new business concepts and attends presentations
- Develop every aspect of the creative campaign based on the client's marketing plan and communications strategy, conceptualize those ideas for clients, assign projects to staff and verify the client's deadlines are being met
- Review campaign requirements and develop concepts by conferring with copywriter, art director, designer, account services and media
- Guide the initial creative meetings, helping to identify overall goals and messages to meet the project needs
- Communicate campaign goals and concepts to creative team to ensure integration of design requirements into all phases of production
- Sketch or electronically produce concept ideas to be executed by staff
- Initiate and stimulate creative ideas for and from everyone involved in the creative process

Man Management

- Manage the Creative department's intellectual, technological and material resources to ensure the Creative Department works as an effective team
- Plan and monitor the performance of the Team to ensure the delivery of quality services is in accordance with the Strategic Agenda
- Manage a team of creative professionals, develop the staff through performance management and giving consistent feedback
- Identify with staff, developmental opportunities and training needs, and help them to work toward their professional goals
- Run the office properly in terms of profitability, manpower management while ensuring client retention and adding new business
- Develop specific goals for self and team while planning and prioritizing importance of the work

Requirements

Key Competencies

- Strong knowledge of the media and advertising landscape
- Effective team management capabilities and leadership skills
- The ability to develop innovative ideas that provide new solutions to all types of workplace challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Digital expertise is a big plus
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash, Power Point and other programs.
- HTML, PHP and other Web experience.
- Design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
- Ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
