Employment: Full Time

- Expedite customs clearance and customs exemptions activities for the clearance of SATORP inbound and outbound shipments and ensure smooth processing of shipments delivery to SATORP.
- Perform a variety of activities related to customs clearance and customs exemptions, including reviewing shipping documents, reviewing customs regulations, determining appropriate actions, preparing appropriate refund requests and maintaining related records and documents.
- Ensure all shipping documents are prepared and ready for prompt customs clearance.
- Coordinate with vendors’ representative to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of shipping requirements and documents.
- Comply with all Saudi Arabian legislative requirements for customs clearance and exemption.
- Track SATORP inbound and outbound shipments in close coordination with all concerned personnel.
- Prepare and submit necessary documents required for clearance of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Generate commercial invoices with supporting documents, if any, for customs clearance and custom duty assessment.
- Act as SATORP representative in discussions and negotiations with the customs authorities and other related government entities.
- Submit monthly reports on customs clearance for SATORP materials, supplies and equipment procured.
- Ensure that all Customs related files and documents are well maintained and organized for easy retrieval.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Saudi Arabian customs and exemptions regulations and procedures.
- Prepare letters and correspondences regarding customs clearance, exemption from customs duty, exemption from inspection of material and other similar letters to the appropriate Saudi Arabian Government entity.
- Ensure that customs duties exempted or paid by SATORP are recovered.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor Vendor Relations Services.

Requirements

- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Customs procedures and legislations.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
- Capable of giving strong attention to details.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good command of oral and written Arabic and English.
