Data Analyst - IT Related

Six(6) month contract in Saudi Arabia for a local national or US Citizen residing in Saudi Arabia, for BIG defense related US company

In need of a passionate Data Analyst (IT) in Saudi Arabia for , to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions for a short term project. The individual selected will already reside in Saudi Arabia and be responsible for providing data analysis and data transfer support to Program Management.

Work will require expertise and interface of several networks, comfort with and skillful use of databases, physical file transfers between computer systems, reporting and documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree
- IT professional or skilled IT analyst with demonstrated analytical and reporting abilities.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data, and review data, generate reports and necessary documentation
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

Required Skills:
- 6 years of experience as a data analyst or related experience
- 3 years of experience in IT, Networks or Systems Engineering
- Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Experience and knowledge of reporting packages
- Experience with statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
- Experience with queries, report writing, MS-OFFICE suite, developing documentation and presenting findings
