Design Officer

Job description / Role

The Design Officer plays a key role in ensuring that the brand is consistently represented in internal and external materials associated with the Secretary General’s activities and is expected to create high quality and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and documents

The detailed duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the ones hereby described:
- Create high quality and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and documents, as requested by the Secretary General, to be used for internal and external presentations
- Leverage PowerPoint capabilities, such as slide transitions and animations, to increase the effectiveness of the presentations
- Work with team members and provide them with suggestions to design clear, uncluttered presentations that effectively communicate the intended message
- Support team members in reviewing and re-formatting PowerPoint documents created for the Secretary General to make sure they meet the highest quality standards
- Work collaboratively with communications advisors to develop’s PowerPoint standards and style guidelines / templates
- Enforce ’s brand standards and style guidelines / templates to ensure the brand is consistently represented in internal and external materials
- Train team members on’s PowerPoint standards and style guidelines / templates and on PowerPoint best practices
- Establish a transparent time reservation and workflow system to make sure that document production request can be managed effectively
- Create and maintain a database with images, icons graphics, and other visual assets to be used in documents
- Maintain an updated archive of all documents produced

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree with high academic achievements in Graphic Design or related subject
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in fast pace and demanding environment
- Previous experience in creative agency, design firm or management consulting firm
- Proven ability to produce high quality PowerPoint presentations
- Highly creative with strong visual communication capabilities
- Disciplined, well organized and capable to prioritize and perform multiple production tasks
- Extremely diligent with an eye for detail and quality
