Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role is geographically focused on Saudi Arabia, including the corporate functions based there, and primarily responsible for driving alignment and advocacy for the corporate brand strategy across all business verticals. This includes activities of governance, and managing the deployment and development of the corporate brand identity (ies). It also requires serving as an expert advisory resource to a rapidly growing and diversifying business which is committed to the Saudi Arabian market.

Strategically, the role drives long term brand value growth, across the group’s brands and trademarks. This is accomplished through effective brand introductions (either through self created brands, or those acquired) and on-going brand management. The role also integrates with government facing teams and risk management to ensure short term brand value is being protected.

- Brand Management/ Corporate Identity
- Act as “voice of the market” into the Global Brand & Communications
- Brand & Marketing Support Reputation Management
- Trademark/ IP Management
- Facilities Branding

Requirements

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from a recognized Institution
- Professional qualified member of professional body e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or equivalent
- 10+ years’ work experience in the marketing/marketing services industry, including specifically a minimum of 5 years as brand or corporate identity management for a diversified Group or Holding Co., environment.
- Proven experience with corporate brand identity development & strategies, and ability to effectively communicate recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent experienced-based understanding of the full marketing mix is essential, with hands on real-world/commercial experience a plus.Experience in a diversified business group, digital communications experience, client side preferable. Both B2B and B2C experience preferred
- Creative with ability to think out-of-box; but able to be commercially pragmatic
- Strong advocacy, relationship building and influencing skills; comfortable working at all levels of the organisation.
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Excellent command of Arabic and English Language (spoken and written)
- High proficiency in MS Office applications; direct experience of other ‘digital marketing/web’ applications an advantage.
