EHS Operational Specialist

Job description / Role

Role Summary:
Reporting to the EHS manager, the EHS Operational Specialist is responsible of providing EHS support and subject matter assistance to the operation team, conduct raining, and implementing EHS programs across his area of responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
• The EHS Operational Specialist - Environmental, Health and Safety will provide assistance in supporting the implementing EHS programs under the general industry standard.

• Responsibilities will include providing staff assistance on occupation health and safety issues, and conducting program assessments, safety training, and routine and emergency monitoring for compliance with occupational exposure limits.
• Assisting with various responsibilities related to industrial hygiene/occupational safety, backup duties, and general and chemical safety.
• Will conduct emergency responses, investigate incidents , Lead the facility's waste management
program. the role also includes full support to operations team in terms of providing full EHS matter expert support on site, quickly and efficiently

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in occupational health and safety or any related field (engineering, chemistry, ETC.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in EHS in industrial work environment.
• Excellent English
• Excellent computer skills (excel, PowerPoint, ETC.)
• excellent Communication skills
• excellent Public speaking skills demonstrated experience with local and international EHS standards
