Due to continued success in the country we are now seeking an experienced Electrical Services Engineer for Maritime Shipyard Development Project in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Maritime Yard is located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City and will cover a proposed area of 4,100m by 1,200m. Maritime Yard is envisioned to be a world class maritime location providing a combination of New Ship Buildings, and MRO facilities(Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) including Very Large Crude Carrier Capabilities (VLCC). The principal assets for Maritime Yard will be the Dry Docks, Wharfs, Piers and Cranes.

Electrical Services Engineer will hold the following responsibilities and duties:
- In accordance with the Chief Engineer ensure optimal and safe performance of all vessels by operating and maintaining the Dredger in the most effective way, focussed on the electrical aspects.
- In accordance with chief engineer execute the electrical maintenance schedule and spare parts requirements in accordance with plan and electrical specifications.
- Reports on work done/ performance, issues and preventive maintenance requirements to chief engineer on a day to day basis and report to electrical superintendent for specific electrical related activities.
- Advises on and ensure the execution of basic and instant electrical repairment on board.
- Ensures optimal capacity and minimal downtime according to the electrical design.
- Actively monitors if the HSE requirements are observed in the engine room and report on it to the superintendent and inform the chief engineer.
- Follows up on QHSE reports/ recommendations if needed.

Requirements

- Engineering electrical bachelor degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Environment techniques is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in dredging & marine construction.
- Candidates with Cutter Suction Dredger experience is required
- Marine related projects experience.
