Job description / Role
PURPOSE: Provide technical support on Storage through Lev1 – Lev 3 stage including monitoring and trouble shooting. Actively respond to technical issues and guarantee resolution within agreed SLA time following ITIL service management process.
MAIN SCOPE
- Comprehensive Knowledge on Storage Area Networking (SAN) technology
- Be familiar with EMC and other popular storage products is a must
- Basic Brocade director switch and Cisco SAN switch management
- EMC VNX storage management, data domain management.
- Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues.
- Assist and coordinate problem determination activities with other groups such as Facilities, Server, Database, and Network management.
- Ability to use Storage Management Tools to discover, monitor, build and report on the storage infrastructure, Good in Storage Capacity management.
- Maintain and enhance documentation for hardware, software, and firmware as it relates to configurations, changes, problems, standards, procedures, and processes
- Ability to use Storage Management Tools to discover, monitor, build and report on the storage infrastructure
- Experience with hardware and software storage products and solutions is preferred.
- Experience with local and remote site storage replication techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in storage management
- Arabic: Intermediate
- English: Fluent
- Comprehensive Knowledge on Storage Area Networking (SAN) technology.
- Be familiar with EMC and other popular storage products is a must.
- Basic Brocade director switch and Cisco SAN switch management.
- EMC VNX storage management, data domain management.
PREFERRED: ITIL knowledge will be preferred
