Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:
The Technical Support Engr is mainly responsible for addressing/resolving GE/Micom protection relays product complaints
The job involves testing the products and liaising with regional/PL experts to remedy the defects

Essential Responsibilities:
• Managing the technical support Software tools
• Front end customer contact, timely response to the customer requests
• Ensuring prompt support and customer satisfaction
• Liaising with field service & application teams to manage the closure of the technical support cases testing of the relays/products to trouble shoot.
• Follow up with Regional/CoE teams as necessary
• Reporting periodically the work status as required.
• After sales management ( management of spares, RMA)
• Management of the basic logistics (movement of the relays)

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Electrical/Electronics Engr wtih 23 years experience in Transmission/distribution with respect to protection relays.
• Testing and commissioning experience
• Ability to read the engineering schemes
• Fluent in Arabic and English speaking & writing
• Saudi national

Desired Characteristics:
• Substation Automation experience preferred
• Network and communication knowledge preferred
