Job description / Role
Leading European contractor requires a Technical Office Manager to join the team working on the Riyadh Metro. The successful candidate will provide the link between the Clients Design Management and the construction team including any external consultants/contractors undertaking design and detailing work.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that key design aspects are incorporated within the scheme, in accordance with employers' requirements and specifications.
- To coordinate the development of shop drawings, sub-contracts and detailers designs with design team.
- Implementing agreed processes for the production, control and distribution of design information.
- Ensuring regular progress reporting of the design, covering production, coordination and interfaces, against a timeline
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Extensive expertise of working on Metro projects in a Design Management role
- Technical and practical background in the design process
- Able to review design and translate into workable solutions
