Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EOM Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. Responsibilities:
• Manage, supervise, and control daily Operation & Maintenance activities of the existing systems.
• Prepare operation schedules for the current month and review daily staff allocation.
• Follow up with Customer Service for complaints received and close-out reports.
• Check and review prepared daily, weekly, and monthly operation & inspection reports.
• Maintain a board for the Daily Program and follow the Emergency Duty Program.
• Extend assistance to clients during Testing and Commissioning.
• Attend the handing over of the system and follow up on new connections & disconnections.
• Coordinate with Gas Sales & Gas Distribution Departments to improve system efficiency & reliability.
• Adhere to the Emergency Plan and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures.
• Wear mandatory safety gear when required.
• Implement relevant instructions and procedures from the Quality Management Manual.
• Conduct internal staff training as per planning & QHSE requirements.
• Schedule the inspection plan for operations maintenance in-line with the yearly plan.
• Approve material & service requests raised by supervisors/coordinators.
• Approve overtime sheets and daily presence lists.
• Ensure the good operation of the system under company contracts.
• Handle gas shutdowns due to system failure.
• Ensure the safety of customer gas systems.
• Comply with authority requirements.
• Manage customer handling and response to emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in emergency and maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
