Job description / Role
- This position is responsible to assist in the provision of basic to complex Emergency Department Services, assist the ER Senior Registrar in the provision of quality and safe care that includes but not limited to
- Initial assessment and management of acutely ill and injured patients, train and supervise junior physician assigned in the unit
- Assist with clinical administration, participate in the department’s education and training activities, departmental audit, he/she is expected to attend departmental meetings.
- He/she will be responsible for keeping his/her resuscitation training up to date.
Requirements
Education/Licensure:
- Doctor of Medicine or Surgery, Master Degree in Emergency Medicine.
- Currently licensed to practice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate, with Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in the field of specialization.
