Job description / Role
- Monitoring the performance, highlighting any deficiencies through the appropriate channels via network health checks..
- Verifying the issue and categorization / prioritization of the incident and Creating tickets of the issues, follow up on open tickets.
- Documenting all issues and their solution for future ease.
- Changing tapes and maintaining tape library for back up in data center.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis is part of the roles and responsibilities along with generating reports and coming up with the analysis.
- Root Cause Analysis of Incidents.
- Monitoring high critical production servers, physical servers and virtual servers.
- Unix Scripting to check logs and for running various services.
- Reporting and Backend Installation of Software’s using SCCM.
- Administrate MS Active Directory accounts and groups/ users and computers.
- Assuring Perfect Change Requests.
- Develop and document technical processes.
Requirements
- Inventory and Asset Management of all IT equipment.
- Ensure proper working order of all terminals and servers at all times
- Provide support to remote users
- Timely updates work-log of the incident tickets and follow up with the requestor’s engineer and stake holders.
- Keeping a watch on all ongoing major incidents and taking follow up on them with respective Teams.
- Participating into major incident bridge calls and make sure that high impact incidents get the right attention and resolution within SLA by providing accurate and relevant updates with proper timeline.
- Attending meetings and providing relevant updates to the customer.
- Handling and Monitoring Client (Cricket Communications and T-Mobile) Servers and providing support to resolve issue within defined SLA.
