Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- 6.3 years of experience in Software Testing, experience in Agillity Billing, Amdocs Billing Good Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Process.
- Implemented Hub Converged charging and billing system in Uganda ( MTN )
- Implemented IMS ( IP Multimedia Services ) for MTN Uganda- Device Testing
- Hands on Experience in Ericsson charging system (CS 5.0).
- Hands on experience in Ericsson Multi Activation (EMA).
- Good knowledge on Order Management – Inventory Management
- Exposure to concepts ( Service class/service offering ID, PAM ID, CUG ID, SDP ) of CS 5.0
- Exposure to ESF/SOA web services – ESF acts as a middleware between CCM and Charging system ( CS5 ) , As part of VAS activations functionality I integrated CRM with ESF web service to get and update balances directly in CS5 ( Dedicated account / Main Account )
- Good knowledge GSM,FXL,WMX,ISP and telecom concepts
- Industry Domain Expertise: Amdocs/Agillity Billing: RMS – Resource management system , CCM- Customer care, SCP – Self-care Portal, Billing system modules, Web applications, Device testing
- Good knowledge in Loyalty management System.
- Experience in Functional testing, System testing, Systems Integration testing, End to End testing, Regression & Retesting
- Proficient in writing test cases and executing test cases
- Knowledge and hands on expertise in software Testing concepts
- Experience in tools like Mercury Quality Center, TOAD, Putty
- Hands on experience in UNIX and SQL
- Willing to work under tight schedules and Onsite as well.
- Ability to work as a team member or as an individual and confident in serving the best results
- Good learner with objective of learning and implementing the end to end telecom solution, keen to work on functional, system integration, middleware and device testing.
