Overview

Aramco is seeking an Event Manager & Engagement Specialist to join the Technology Communications & Outreach (TCO) team within its Technology Oversight & Coordination organization (TOC). TCO is a key enabler in fulfilling TOC's mission of creating value for Aramco through effective communication with its vast stakeholders. The candidate is responsible for driving and promoting stakeholder engagement for Aramco's sustainability technologies. In the Event Manager and Engagement Specialist role, you will be an integral part of the development and execution of events and PR campaigns for Technology Oversight and Coordination (TOC). The candidate should also be well-versed in specialized branding, marketing concepts, principles and tactics and also be proficient in both English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
- Provide hands-on coordination and management of global workshops, events, and conferences that are related to sustainability, climate change, innovations in climate technologies
- Build and deliver annual event and branding engagement plans for internal and external stakeholders
- Arrange visits with VIPs, universities, and other organizations or entities, as required.
- Build and manage agency relationships, develop scopes of work, and manage work programs.
- Align, promote and support corporate communication efforts.
- Establish and manage an internal communication governance system, with periodic strategic reviews and bi-weekly tactical reviews.
- Provide a track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies
- Develop marketing campaigns, brand collateral, and long-term strategies - overseeing the work of external consultants, including web developers, videographers and online platform vendors
- Manage brand resources and processes to enable consistent brand delivery, i.e., message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology, accurate data and highlights
- Perform extensive quantitative and qualitative market researches to implement data driven marketing campaigns and meet organization-wide strategic goals
- Work with internal teams to support the organization's growth by developing content marketing and demand generation strategies that drive awareness and engagement
- Development and implementation of strategic and external events calendar to drive awareness with new prospects and accelerate existing opportunities
- Develop a centralized events calendar to email campaigns, overseeing their full life cycle, including: creative/copy development, data segmentation, and reporting/analysis
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for events
- Liaise with external agencies to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate events.
- Plan and execute initiative to reach the target audience for events through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV, etc.)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, Media, or related field. A Master's is preferred. At least 7 years of work experience in event management.
- Good team player but can also work independently
- As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred from a recognized and approved program.
- 3+ years of experience in strategic communication and public affairs.
- Strong analytical capacity, with the ability to address complex challenges and contexts.
- Demonstrated confidence with a high level of integrity and collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy.
- At ease and effective with C-suite leaders, SME's and working-level partners.
- Hands-on self-starter, with an engaging "can do" attitude.
- Ability to work and deliver under pressure and to effectively overcome adversity.
- Requires more than 50% travel worldwide: to Asia, Europe, Africa, Americas, and many other locations in the Middle East.
