Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Finance / Developer Assistant to form part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based on a large mixed use Development in Riyadh. The main objective of the PMC is to implement and manage the overall Development Programme, which includes infrastructure enhancement works, as well as retail mall and hospitality new build and refurbishment elements.

The team shall be expected to assist the client in any way possible to ensure the Development is completed to the required timescales and within their stated budgets. The project is expected to last for up to 3 years for Phase 1, with an option for Phase 2 lasting a further 2-3 years also.

Responsibilities:

Commercial:
- Preparation of monthly invoices (following invoicing terms of the FSA contract) and monitoring of unsuccessful applications, if any;
- Full understanding of the actual project cost and expenses to be able provide accurate costs to project controls team for its ETC;
- Understanding of the PSR and its direct relation to CVR of EA to be able to reasonably respond to queries raise by the controls team and package managers;
- Prepare the internal cost reconciliation of proposed Change Fees and forward to Commercial Manager for his further review of the cost vs fee;
- Monthly periodic review of sub contractor accounts in addition to JDE reported costs;
- Help to resolve ongoing finance issues that could impact the project commercial success.

Finance:
- JDE import of RM timesheets from various units;
- Responsible for the monthly sub contractor accruals;
- Coding of supplier invoices online;
- Monthly review of JDE time and expense to review anomalies; mis-postings, if any;
- Assist Central Finance team on any queries regarding RM3;
- Help to resolve issues regarding reconciliation of project costs and expenses.

Admin:
- Maintain the timesheet system that serves as the project’s database for manpower resource and man hours and the administration of project deliverable strings;
- Upkeep of some registers saved in Project Wise.

Requirements

- Degree qualified: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field;
- Working knowledge of JDE
- Project accounting and taxation
- Understanding of PSR / Enterprise Advantage
- Knowledge of advance excel, pivots, etc
- Highly analytical with a good crack in numbers
- Fast learner and able to work in fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
