Job description / Role
The financial controller will be a senior level executive who Must be experienced in the Contracting field, he will act as the head of accounting, and will oversee the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and frequently report to the Deputy GM and GM of the company.
In addition to preparing reports, responsibilities include compliance audits, monitoring internal controls, preparing Static budgets and analysing financial variances throughout the year creating the monthly flexible or rolling budgets.
The financial controller has to be constantly aware of why variances in the expected cash flow occur and be alert to cashflow constraints ahead of time in order to suggest ways to finance them. The financial controller should collaborate closely with the tender pricing team and project managers and will play a major role in bank relations and financing activities for the projects to maintain a healthy cashflow.
Requirements
- BSc in Finance, Accounting back ground
- Other certifications obtained: CMA is a plus
- 10 years in the construction field and government projects
Specialist knowledge:
Financial analysis, static budgeting, flexible budgeting, cashflow forecasting, banking and finance
Age Range: 33-40
Gender Preference: male
Language Fluency: Arabic (essential), English (preferable)
