Job description / Role
One of the largest Saudi conglomerate with businesses in a number of different industries is looking for a Financial Controller.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To run, coordinate and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information vis-à-vis maintenance of proper books of accounts as per standard company practices while effectively managing the financial and cost control functions of projects
- Keep a vigil and issue timely advice to the site manager regarding financial health of projects and to ensure good governance in such areas as funds management, commercial transactions, banking and treasury functions
- To maintain updated books of accounts while maintaining accounting records in accordance with statutory regulations
- To monitor & suggest corrective measures to site manager, in order to control the project within budgeted limits with respect to cost, profitability, revenue generation and cash flows
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with an additional qualification
- Industrial/Construction experience is preferable
- GCC experience is a must
- KSA based with a transferable Iqama
