Company Profile:

A leading national aviation organization specializing in providing cargo and passenger services. They are committed to providing seamless passenger experience from start to end and ensure that their services are consistently delivered at the highest standard.

They are currently looking to recruit Financial Reporting Section Manager to be based KSA.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the formulation of the company’s Finance strategy
• Monitor the development and implementation of the Financial Controls’ policies, procedures, and processes
• Monitor performance of the Financial Controls Department against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis.
• Recommend improvements and efficiencies in line with corporate priorities
• Assist in developing and monitoring the annual budget of the Financial Controls Department.
• Ensure an accurate and timely period, quarterly and year-end accounting close
• Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
• Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the general ledger system accuracy and balance.
• Review bank reconciliations.
• Manage Financial Reporting Staff.
• Build a highly effective operation accounting team through training, development, and mentoring.
• Support the Financial Control’s Director in providing the required accounting and financial management training for HQ and Regional Office staff.
• Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates based on the company’s Performance Management System.
• Work with Human Resources Function in the development of the workforce plans and succession planning for key positions in the Operational Excellence Section.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources Function for recruitment of talent within the Financial reporting section

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role
• Degree in Finance Management or Business administration is a Must
• MBA or Masters in a relevant field is an added advantage.
