Job description / Role
- Inspects, repairs, and tests fire extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devices.
- Dismantles extinguishers and examines mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replaces worn or damaged parts.
- Cleans extinguishers and recharges them with approved materials.
- Inspects, tests, and repairs systems such as smoke detectors, sprinklers, and dry stand pipe systems, and pull systems.
- Assists in fire safety inspection.
The Emergency Response Technician provides initial response to emergencies including Fire, Release, Medical, Rescue and Haz-Mat responses that may occur inside the site.
Requirements
- Fire Equipment Technician / Emergency response 1 - Should have technical diploma along with experience of not less than 4 years in the field of safety and firefighting.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Good command of English (speaking-writing)
- A valid driving license.
- Age should not exceed 36 years old.
- The candidate must be medically and physically fit to perform the work task, and should submit an approved medical report proving that.
- Salary is determined after the interview.
