Food & Beverage Manager – KSA

Strategic Planning
- Participates in the development and preparation of the hotel strategic plan
- Assesses, evaluates and ensures that long-term and short term goals of all Food & Beverage operations are met

Pre-Opening
- Creates and install all systems and Operating Standards for all the food and beverages outlets
- Along with the Corporate Office, the General Manager fine tunes the F&B concepts of the hotel

Operations
- Directs and manages all food and beverage activities to maximize revenue, profitability and quality goals by developing and executing marketing strategies, up-selling strategies, controlling costs and by providing quality service and products to guests
- Develop with the Sales and Marketing team advertising and promotional campaigns have in order to increase the market awareness and penetration of the food and beverage outlets in the market
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of F&B Development and Executive Assistant Manager the development and roll-out of the In-house packages, promotions and activities

Requirements

Guest Service
- Conduct weekly audits in each of the Outlets to monitor service & quality and develop and implement strategies to improve results
- Monitor quality of service and give recommendations to be made to appropriate head of department
- Develop strategies in order to improve guest service, food production techniques and efficiency

Finance
- Achieves along with his/her Team Members the targeted food cost percentages
- Monitor discounts on sales on a monthly basis and any large deviations are accounted for
- Financial reports have been analyzed and corrective action and follow is taken on any discrepancies
- Preparation and pricing of menus and beverage

Team Management
- Maximizes employee productivity and morale within the department and consistently maintain discipline within hotel guidelines and local regulations
- Schedules employees in line with varying business levels in order to maximize productivity and minimize payroll costs
- Selects and recruits suitable employees for the department using prescribed set of policies and procedures
- Give appropriate skills training to team members in order to meet guests’ needs and maintain standards
- Identifies employees with potential for promotion and/or transfer and makes appropriate development plans for him/her together Director of People

Engagement
- Conducts monthly departmental meetings with staff in order to review the monthly achievements and areas for development
- Establishes and maintains effective internal communications including daily meetings with staff to ensure optimum team work and productivity

Health and Safety
- Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in regards to hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene and Health & Safety
- Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately
- Adheres to the hotel’s fire, emergency and bomb threat procedures
- Practices and enforces all emergency procedures to provide the security and safety of guests and employees
- Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules and regulations

Fundamentals
- Work within all pre-set budgetary limits.
- Comply with all company policies.
- Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the EAM, GM and hotel
