Employment: Full Time

Our client is a multinational Project Management and Engineering firm which operates in the railway sector. They are currently involved with the management of the Design of a new metro project in Saudi Arabia.

Job Title: General Services Manager
Reporting Line: Administration Manager

Responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the General Services Department including budgeting, purchasing and financial transactions, staff organization and development, performance evaluations, employee relations, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities.

Evaluates the need to fill vacant positions and recommends changes to allocated positions and divisional structure as needed. Researches and prepares recommendations and reports for the department director.

Oversees the development, inspection, and enforcement of the standards by which materials are procured, stored, accounted for, issues, maintained and repaired; creates and reviews bids and specifications; reviews plans and specifications of private consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Oversees and develops short and long-term strategic goals pertaining to the planning, development, design and operational processes for Logistics, Housing and Offices, Fleet Operations, and Meter Maintenance.

Establishes departmental programs and budgets for the maintenance, replacement, and improvement of materials and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Master’s Degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience as a General Services Manager, working in big projects/companies, in the Construction industry.
- Native English.
- Microsoft Office
- Working Visa or Transferable Iqama.
- Good knowledge in Procurement, Fleet Management, Inventory Management and Strategic Planning.
- Willing to work 60 hours per week (10 hours/day, 6 days/week).
