Employment: Full Time

We are currently seeking a CFO/Group Finance Director to work with a leading Saudi Arabian firm who are the exclusive distributer of one of the world’s leading names in automobiles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the clients request they are only looking for candidates who have prior experience in working in the United States. The role will report into the Managing Director.

Job Purpose: To Plan, Implement, Manage and Direct the Group Finance Strategy by controlling all financial-related activities of the Group, which will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, deal analysis, negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance, private and institutional financing in order to achieve all desired financial parameters set by us.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

Strategic Planning:
- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities on overall finances of Group and to each specific business vertical as well.
- Provide recommendations and ensure implementation to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities in order to increase financial health of the Group.

Financial Controlling & Management:
- Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the each business vertical in specific context with high financial efficiency of entire group.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with SOCPA, GAAP, IFRS and applicable to state and local regulatory

Financial Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Ensure credibility of Group Finance Department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts, in order to maintain financial health of group in best shape.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the group’s top management.

Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.

People Management:
- Manage & evaluate employees’ performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets and KPIs and provide development opportunities to maximize the potential and engagement of employees
- Manage the talent pipeline in the organization through recruitment, effective utilization of employee development programs, mentoring programs, career planning and succession planning
- Manage departmental changes through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘ industry and Regional / international best practice’ and consequent related changes

Reporting:
- Ensure that all financial reports of each business verticals are prepared timely and accurately and meet the Group and company requirements, standards, policies and procedures.
- Direct the issuance of accurate and timely financial reports to financial heads highlighting variances in each business vertical performance against the budget to ensure their attention and adherence to budget limits
- Monitor the issuance of the accurate and timely annually audited consolidated financial statements for the entire Group to ensure meeting the requirements of the external auditors and Department of Zakat and Income Tax.

Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Develop and oversee the implementation of group finance policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the Finance division activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude

Requirements

- Minimum of 18+ years’ experience in any dynamic Multinational business environment with minimum 8 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- MBA is a must from a respectable University.
- CPA, ACCA or any related Certification (Absolute must).
- Big four Audit work and training experience is highly desired.
- Fully aware of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles.
- Strong background in financial: planning, budgeting, control, reporting, analysing and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Cash flow, investments, fund raising and maintaining/developing banking relationships. M&A & IPO Governance is highly desired.
