Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Training Budget & Planning
- Plan along with top Management and all business heads, the annual training budget for the organization
- Develop and maintain relationship with business heads to understand their training and development requirements and plan training calendar accordingly
- Ensure identification and analysis of training needs in coordination with other functional and category managers
- Ensure development of training calendar and delivery of training programs as per training calendar
- Ensure cost efficient procurement of training services – training facilities, training content and delivery
- Measure the ROI of training in the organization to show tangible benefits

Training Centre of Excellence
- Act as a consultant to business, regarding learning and development needs
- Provide performance consulting to business on ways to improve existing processes and introduce new processes
- Create a knowledge repository with information around relevant management books, online courses and white papers
- Ensure all concept specific training is audited and quality checked by the corporate Learning & Development team
- Ensure standardization, relevance, cross pollination of training across concepts
- Conduct diagnostic study after training delivery to evaluate training effectiveness
- Establish an effective training feedback mechanism aimed at continuous improvement of learning & development process at Landmark
- Evaluate training content, trainers, methods employed, etc. in an objective manner and undertake improvement actions, wherever needed
- Conduct Learning & development perception survey to understand and analyse the views of business stakeholders on training effectiveness
- Ensure trainer effectiveness and professional standards in delivery

Training Delivery & Administration
- Provide coaching and feedback on management, collaboration, career development, and other professional skills
- Create training priorities for the year essentially training themes enabling concepts achieve business goals
- Design training content in line with organizational/ functional requirements to ensure effective and high quality delivery of training to employees
- Develop and build relations with vendors/ service providers to ensure timely provision of training infrastructure, development of content and training delivery

Employer Brand
- Facilitate creation and communication of 'Landmark employer brand' by associations with retail institutes/ centre of excellence/ government bodies and universities
- Benchmark Landmark learning and development processes and systems with best in class Retail University
- Create a retail course in consultation with University dean and department head
- Co-manage the retail course with the University representatives
- Nominate employees to be enrolled into the retail course

People Management
- Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership positions
- Recruit, Retain and engage the team and build a collaborative and high performance team
- Enhance team productivity through skills development through coaching and training
- Ensure objective periodic administration of the performance appraisal process followed by monitoring of feedback implementation for the team
- Ensure all employee disciplinary issues and grievances are dealt with correctly
