Head of Accounts - European Principal Contractor

Our client is a major European principal contractor, with a genuine global presence. They operate across all Construction, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Energy and M&E.

They are currently involved in a high profile, prestigious project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They are looking to recruit a Head of Accounts to take charge of their Accounts team.

The Role:
To have overall responsibility for the Accounts Department and to ensure all financial reports adhere to the company’s policies and the regulatory requirements. That they and are an accurate view of the company's financial position and performance.

Requirements

- A minimum of 10 years experience in the Financial sector.
- Previous experience as a Head of Accounts or Chief Accountant – ideally in the construction, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
- Previous Middle East experience - ideal.
- Stable employment history.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable university.
- Qualified CIA, ACA,ACCA
- Excellent knowledge of International Accounting Standards.
