Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the CEO the Head of Compliance is an integral part of the Middle East senior management team, and will be the key interface with the regulators. You will be responsible for Compliance across the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prestigious Financial Services. Based in Saudi Arabic. The Head of Compliance must be a Saudi National.

The Head of Compliance is Responsibe for leading a small compliance and account opening team, identifying training and development requirements, and ensuring the correct policy and procedure implementation and training across the business.

Support the effective identification, measurement, control and management of regulatory compliance risk through ensuring that all the regulatory compliance teams within the region adopt and follow the Group Regulatory compliance methodologies including:
* Overseeing the process of including all applicable laws, rules, regulations and compliance risks into their respective regulatory environments;
* Designing and managing the annual and regulatory compliance risk assessment processes
* Assessing the overall regulatory posture of the region's business units and offices and assessing the overall effectiveness of the respective compliance oversight programs.
* Oversee the development, implementation, review and revisions of regulatory compliance policies, procedures and systems.
* Monitor applicable regulatory changes and provide effective change management within the business units of the region to address such changes.
* Actively participate in the Senior Regulatory Compliance Forum
* Ensure the regional Regulatory Compliance team is appropriately resourced and organised including:
* Hire, direct, train and coach direct reports.
* Allocate, coordinate and performance manage work and responsibilities of regional Regulatory Compliance resources.

Requirements

* Extensive compliance experience (+10 years) and experience in an Investment Banking/Private Equity with cross-jurisdictional operating models (FCA, DFSA etc)
* Saudi National (essential)
* Ability to work in Saudi Arabia
* Proven interpersonal, communication, project management and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to manage medium teams over multiple locations.
* Demonstrated problem solving, managerial and decision-making skills.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Multinational banking experience from a developed market
* Team player.
* Ability to influence.
* Ability to build consensus
