Head of Early Years/Head of Nursery

Job description / Role

Our partner school in Saudi Arabia - Jeddah is currently seeking a Head of Early Years/Head of Nursery to start in August 2022. Our partner school is an International curriculum school that started with kindergarten (KG 1-3) and primary sections (Grades 1-6) in the academic year 2013-2014 and with consistent efforts and successive developments, a middle school section (Grades 7-9) was opened in the academic year 2014-2015 and they have continued to expand and grow, up to Grade 12. They are committed to providing "Quality Education”, striving for excellence, and providing innovative and competitive academics as well as a safe and clean environment for students.

This is an exciting opportunity to suit an innovative professional with exceptional leadership skills, excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, and a delight in being part of the founding team of this exciting School. Your understanding of pupils’ strengths and needs is essential, as is the creation of a positive learning environment in the school as a whole. In addition, your role is to develop and foster the appropriate skills, leadership capabilities, and social abilities to enable the school's optimum development according to the school's goals, objectives, mission, and Vision.

• Respect and maintain all aspects of professional confidentiality
• Undertake such duties as may reasonably be requested showing the flexibility of the approach

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Education or Equivalent Degree
• Teaching License from home country or other recognized certifications
• American/UK/IB Curriculum Experience
• Strong knowledge of curriculum area, understanding of teaching pedagogy and methods
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Experience Working in the UK
• Available to start in August 2022
