Head of MEP Department

Job description / Role

Client is a leading Saudi engineering consultancy who have an excellent reputation and track record for excellence in the market place. They are currently looking to recruit a Head of MEP Department for its busy office in Riyadh.

The role will be to manage the whole of mechanical, electrical and plumbing department including project management, manpower planning and staff assignment, preparation and review of all design procedures, quality control, technical support or site staff.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and must have at least 20 years experience in the mechanical or electrical industry and must also be able to demonstrate at least 5 years experience of managing an MEP team within an engineering consultant.

Candidates should have all round exposure to all aspects of mechanical, electrical an plumbing on large design and construction schemes and should be familiar with all local and international design codes. candidates should be familiar with software such as Revit, Deltek and microsoft packages.
