Employment: Full Time

Exceptional Head of Retail needed for a large store format retailer in Riyadh to work a regional managerial role.

To manage the complete retail operations of all stores within KSA (20+) in order to achieve an increase in sales and profitability; by managing strategic and day to day decisions.

Responsibilities for this Head of Retail role:
- Manage the sales and marketing teams in order to develop a strategy to drive the business forward
- Financial control of budget and forecasting
- Management of stores and showrooms - including ensuring that customer service levels are maintained
- Liaising on HR & Training
- Provided strategic leadership to functional heads
- Store openings and expansion
- To be the brand ambassador to internal stakeholders and ensure that the company ethos is maintained at all levels

Requirements

This Head of REtail role requires the below skill set:

The candidate must have extensive experience working within the retail industry and a real passion for the market.
The successful candidate will have large format store experience, on a regional level in one for the following areas:
- Furniture
- Big Box retail
- Supermarket - non food
- Soft furnishings - if on large store format
- DIY / Home Improvements

Minimum qualifications:
- University Graduate - ideally in management
- Exceptional computer literacy
- Seven plus years at a Senior level in a retail environment on a regional scale, with +15 years total experience
- Ideally GCC based experience - but relocation from outside the GCC will be considered for the right candidate
- An Arabic speaking candidate would be beneficial, but not essential
