Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Controls & monitors H&S, communications & reports, people & morale, delivery of results, quality of product & systems (including design & implementation).
* Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Hygiene, Safety and Environmental activity is carried out in an efficient and procedural compliant manner.
* Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
* Supervises the day-to-day operations of HS&E to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
* Develop, maintain and update HSE Management System (HSEMS) including policies, procedures, standards and practices.
* Lead and / or participate in accident investigations and root cause analysis. Prepare learning points from accidents and ensure these are circulated /auctioned to all relevant parties.
* Assessment for the area of any works and ensure from the condition of the area and the safety precaution of job and if the conditions is not safely enough, putting specify the precautions which should be taken to assure the maximum degree of safety.
* Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
* Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Requirements

* Must be Saudi nationality.
* Fluent English& Arabic.
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or relevant degree.
* 6-8 years relevant experience in Industrial Environment including at least 3 years in Oil Refinery.
