HSE Engineer

Job description / Role

Coordinating and monitoring all health, safety and environment activities to ensure agreed safety and loss prevention standards are fully implemented and properly followed.

Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures.

Implement policies in accordance with the HSE manual and all health, safety and environment related documentation, including method of statements, work permit procedures and safety equipment requisitions to ensure compliance with established standards.

Continually improving HSE implementation across the project by providing direction and guidance to main contractors, consultants and employees. Training and familiarization of staff with HSE procedures, policies and documentation.

Assist the HSE Manager undertake investigations as well as and maintaining a register of all incidents and accidents which occur.

Ensuring all site based equipment complies with HSE requirements and is correctly licensed for operation and use.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Health and Safety or related field and NEBOSH qualification, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Good Communication and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- This job is Makkah, thus the candidate must be a Muslim
- Looking for candidates with transferable Iqama
