Job description / Role
At Norconsulting we are currently looking for a HV GIS Installation Supervisor to carry out the following job specifications with experience in the following areas:
Job description:
- GIS Installation Supervisors
- GIS Installation experience with ELK-03 & 04 is a plus
- GIS installation experience with ALSTOM GIS 380-420 KV is a plus
- The scope of work of GIS Supervisor cover all the activities / actions required to enable switching systems to be successfully installed, repaired and any faults eliminated
- The Supervisor is responsible for installation of high voltage systems worldwide. He/she represents the supplier in general through his presence and technical knowledge and PTHS specifically in dealings with the client at the installation site. The deadlines issued for each project are adhered to, whereby the cost-performance ratio must always be borne in mind in this respect. He/she embodies the suppliers QA philosophy, taking into account the special conditions on the construction sites
The client is in the top 5 major players of the Power and Energy sector, they are currently investing in the Saudi region

Requirements
- Mechanical / Electrical engineering or high diploma
- Hands On Experience HV GIS (Gas Insulated Swtichgear) required at installation site
- SF6 Gas Handling
- Speaking & writng English language is a must intermediate - high level
