Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Responsible for the means and conditions of import orders, determines the forwarders and which logistics companies to work with.
* Decides on the quantities of each import SKU per shipment.
* Verify and audit all the documentation and ensure its available for each shipment.
* Checks randomly the quality of goods upon arrival (temperature, expiration dates,..etc).
* Determines the working schedule for staff as well as which tasks are being delegated to whom.
* Decides on a daily basis how the work is being organized and who receives certain permanent tasks.
* Trains his staff in order to ensure that each tasks is being performed professionally.
* Decides on temporary dismissals of employees until the final decision is being made by the COO.
* Informs the COO and the Regional Managers about any specific situations like shortages which may lead to missing items.

Requirements

* No preferable Nationality or Gender.
* Must have Fluent Arabic and English language.
* Transferable Iqama.
* Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related major.
* Minimum (5) years' of experience in a managerial level.
