Job Description
Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Industrial Engineer's job is to be responsible for determining, computing and maintaining the accuracy of throughput standards (UPH), production equipment/shop floor layout, manpower standards/allocation and other manufacturing metrics/KPI according to generally acceptable Industrial Engineering / Lean Six Sigma standards and methods to maximize production efficiency.

- Value Stream Mapping / Lean Manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Projects / Operations Support
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager
Communications and Working Relationships
- Maintains a cross-functional position
- Primary Customers - Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Project Management
- Primary Contacts - Managers, Supervisors, Engineers
HSE Responsibilities
- Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the health, safety and welfare of self and others
- Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and makes suggestions to address these risks and co-operate with his/her supervisor's instructions.
Physical Requirements of the Job - If Applicable
- The job of the Industrial Engineer may requires local travel
Requirements
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- BS in IE graduate, at least two years' experience as Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing plant.
- Industrial Engineering methods and tools (time and motion principles), Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, Flow Charting, Project Management, Quality Control Tools and Methods, Feasibility Study
- Engineering, Training, Leadership, Analytic, Strategic Planning, Database Software Applications, Report Writing, Team building, Good Communication and Interpersonal
- Flexible, Analytic, Proactive, Prompt, Resourceful, Result Oriented, Creative, Customer Oriented.
