Overview

We are seeking an Industrial Skills Training Specialist to join the Engineering & Training Services Division of the Saudi Aramco Fire protection Department.

The Engineering & Training Services Division is responsible for providing 3rd party accredited training, development and professional certification opportunities to the Saudi Aramco Fire Protection Department's workforce from initial recruit through to Chief Fire Officer. In support of this mission, the division operates a National Board for Fire Service Professional Qualifications and International Fire Service Accreditation Congress accredited certification system and delivers training primarily through one of it's three designated training centers.

The industrial Skills Training Specialist's primary role is to lead programs from the instructional design phase through to field delivery and obtaining 3rd party accreditation of the relevant test instrument phase of the learning process in line with the latest published edition of the appropriate NFPA standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
- Coach, mentor and develop instructional faculty that serve in roles below the incumbent's level for purposes of workforce development, career progression and succession.
- Conduct training needs analysis to establish and instructional design proposal.
- Perform a greenfield instructional development design inclusive of bespoke audiovisual aids, plans of instruction, reference handbooks, lesson plans and test instrument development in line with relevant NFPA standards.
- Perform training assessments to determine course Return on Investments.
- Inspect, maintain, service and operate field training resources and facilities assigned to the training centers.
- Perform and demonstrate at a role model level of proficiency, all skills required of trainees within the training course being delivered, under adverse environmental conditions such as extreme heat, humidity within IDLH live fire and technical rescue environments.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in either Fire Science, Emergency Management, Occupational Safety or similar from a recognized and approved program.

You will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in frontline fire-rescue response, with an organization that has a comparable risk profile of Saudi Aramco.

Additional Requirements:
- You will have at a minimum either ProBoard or IFSAC Accredited Certification as Fire-Fighter-I/II, Hazardous Materials Operations Level, Fire Service Instructor Level-II and Fire Officer Level-II.
- Additional ProBoard or IFSAC certification in areas of Haz-Mat, Technical Rescue, ARFF, are preferred.
