Due to continued success in the country we are now seeking an experienced Interface Management Engineer for Maritime Shipyard Development Project in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Maritime Yard is located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City and will cover a proposed area of 4,100m by 1,200m. Maritime Yard is envisioned to be a world class maritime location providing a combination of New Ship Buildings, and MRO facilities(Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) including Very Large Crude Carrier Capabilities (VLCC). The principal assets for Maritime Yard will be the Dry Docks, Wharfs, Piers and Cranes.

Interface Management Engineer will hold the following duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing Engineering/Procurement/Construction/Commissioning interfaces: physical, logistical, informational, organizational and any other internal to project/operations issues.
- Coordinate the execution of the Detailed Design and procurement activities; in particular coordinate all interfaces between EPC contractor and company.
- Shutdown coordination.
- Identify the need for and ensure appropriate reviews and audits are implemented to support assurance of interface management performance.
- Tracking and expediting critical equipment and materials.
- Review or arrange CFDH review and verification of Contractors' Design and Procurement related documents as per Company Technical Authority system.
- Ensure that all reviews actions are closed.
- Log and closeout all design and Procurement related Variances, Change Proposals and Variations to contract.
- Plan and invite Audits on design and procurement activities of contractor, participate in audits and inspections, identify non conformances and corrective actions and monitor follow up.
- Making sure that only Approved For Construction (AFC) package, in accordance with Company TA system are issued to site for construction.
- Coordinate Risk and Opportunity Reviews every quarter
- Review requirements for mandatory spares; facilitate Procurement and Handover of Spares.
- Ensure that contractor submits Plant Operating Manual, Safeguarding Manual and project instruments data is logged in SAP PM
- Maintain all design and procurement related communications, documents and records.
- Ensure that own actions and those of EPC contractor are conducted in accordance with the Company's HSE management system Company procedures.
- Ensure Contractor produce all design deliverables mandated by DCAF, SP-1122. FEED and Statement of Fitness (AI-PSM)
- Coordinate with the project CSR during the construction stage.
- Conduct weekly site visits and as and when required during construction stage.
- Manage project budget
- Manage the project plan and scheduling

Requirements

- The position requires a combination of strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercial skills.
- Significant relevant multi-discipline engineering experience in EP industry is required to provide the necessary overview of the business, with considerable experience in planning or project engineering.
- Engineering graduate.
- A good experience in planning, budgeting and managing interfaces.
- Conversant with International, group engineering standards, as well as HSE standards.
- Good man-management, interpersonal, organization skills and ability to work independently are essential.
- Good communication skills and an aptitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil and gas projects.
- Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
- Strong capabilities in problem solving in complex project and business environments.
