Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a prominent group with operations based in Jeddah. The company's core business activities consist of 6 main areas including financial, business development and portfolio management services. Our client is looking to hire an Internal Audit Manager to manage the full internal audit function of this family holding business.
You will evaluate and provide assurance that the risk management and control processes are accurate and in place. You will also report any risk issues or internal control deficiencies to the Board of Directors and CEO. You will be responsible for assessing information security and associated risk exposure, communicating and engaging with Senior Management and the Audit Committee on a regular basis.
In addition, you will build relationships and engage openly with external Auditors whilst supporting the company with their anti-fraud programs. This position will play a key role in developing and growing the culture of internal control.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a masters in finance and accounting or be a qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, CIA). You should have a minimum of 10 years' experience within internal audit or internal control either in an industry environment or through a professional accounting body. It is essential you are a strong communicator who can engage with all levels of employee across the business.
