Job description / Role
Objectives: Examine and evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s internal control systems and procedures and recommend corrective actions to improve operations, enhance internal controls and reduce costs where possible.
Main responsibilities:
- Audit planning and execution, including risk assessment, process analysis, and control evaluation.
- Collect information about the organization’s systems and processes by reviewing manuals, policies, reports, financial statements, and other written materials.
- Identify and document aspects of the organization’s systems and processes that do not comply with regulations, laws, and standards or do not comply with the organization’s policies and operating procedures.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
- Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
- Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management
- Providing ongoing internal control consulting.
Reporting to: General Audit Supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Finance & Accounting or any relative subject.
