Job description / Role
Reporting to the Cost Consultant, you will be responsible for the financial, commercial and contractual management of a critical design and build High Rise project for this dynamic and expanding organisation in their office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

THE ROLE
- Work closely with the Cost Consultant and Project Director, you will be jointly responsible for the financial, commercial and contractual management of the project through to final account close out
- Preparation, submission and negotiation of all monthly project interim and final accounts using software provided
- Cost planning
- Negotiating with Contractors
- Financial risk management
- Liaising with the client on all commercial matters
- Monthly valuations
- Cost reports, tracking variations, cashflow and commercial risks
- Final account negotiation
- Providing contractual advice to the client and Project Director to protect against claims
- Maintaining accurate and up to date Forecast Final Accounts for presentation to clients on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- Demonstrable track record of working for a PQS practice in the UK for a minimum of two years
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- RICS or equivalent
- Client focused
- You must be able to think fast on your feet, you will be tenacious, resilient with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Enthusiastic and solutions oriented, with a positive approach.
This is an ASAP start and the remuneration will be basic salary (c£40 - 50K per annum) + monthly allowance + accommodation + flights, holidays, medical insurance etc.
